100 yard British Benchrest Club Target
Competitions comprise of a warm-up round followed by five scoring rounds. There is a competition time limit of 7 minutes per round with 5 scoring shots in the top target and as many non scoring sighter shots as you like in the bottom target. Targets have moving backers to check that 5 shots have been placed in the top target. Scoring based on the measured group size and not the hitting of the target centre. The lowest average group size of the 5 rounds is the Competition winner. The warm-up round group counts for the lowest individual group but not for the 5 round Competition score.
